Arbour Housing is seeking voluntary Board Members to provide good governance and contribute to our strategy for success and deliver on our vision;
“To provide more homes, meet our tenants’ needs and make a positive difference to people’s lives, communities and the environment”
We are looking for members who share our passion and commitment to housing provision and to making a positive social difference.
We are aiming to recruit new Board Members with professional working experience in any of the following disciplines:
- Tenants’ needs and concerns
- Strategic management (in a public or private body)
- General business activities (including management of staff, property, and contracts)
- Finance
- Legal matters
- Community relations and needs (including equal opportunities)
- Working with local authorities
- Development and building
- Public Relations/HR
- Public Procurement
- Management of information technology
Arbour Housing full Board meet 6 times a year and Sub-Committees 4 times a year, giving an average time commitment of at least 10 evening meetings per year.
