Housing Matters NI – a trading name of Kith & Kin Financial Wellbeing CIC, is a unique pilot project funded by Belfast City Council and is Northern Ireland’s first Social Enterprise Estate Agency. As a not-for-profit company all profits are used for social good within Northern Ireland.

We currently offer a Home Sales and Letting provision which is a professional and transparent service focussing on the benefit to our clients.

Housing Matters NI is passionate about ensuring customers are offered support and kept informed throughout the process. For many people buying, selling or renting a home can be an intensely stressful undertaking, we will help throughout this journey and are available to address any concerns.

LETTINGS

Housing Matters NI offers a stress free Home Lettings Service with a view to looking after Landlords and Tenants.
We offer Landlords a professional let-only option for those who choose to look after the management themselves. We will work together to ensure the right tenant. Evidence shows that tenants who feel more secure will stay in properties longer, saving on changing tenancies. They are also more likely to look after the property leading to less repairs and problems and develop a better relationship with their landlord
We will:
– Value the property
– Market via PropertyPal and Property News and social media outlets.
– Deal with enquiries and arrange viewings
– Vet potential tenants and look after the administration
– Provide Lease Agreement

TENANTS

Finding a property can be stressful. Housing Matters NI offers a professional and dedicated service to help people find a suitable home. We can also offer a wellbeing support package covering areas such as good mental health, financial advice, budgeting, debt management, practical maintenance advice to minimise any anxiety. Each Tenant will go through an individual assessment of their wellbeing needs to match them with the relevant service
