About the role
The Senior Allocations Officer will support the Housing team with our allocations function. The role looks after key areas that go to the very heart of the business and the challenges we face. We are looking for somebody who is pro-active and forward thinking, assertive but able to build relationships. This role is about modernising allocations by being creative within the legal framework.
A third level qualification AND 2 years’ recent experience (within the last 6 years) in a customer centric environment OR 5 years’ recent experience (within last 8yrs) in housing role at officer level or above. Candidates should also have at least 1 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) of leading and managing a team. A proven track record in allocations and voids management to provide safe and sustainable communities, is essential and you will have sound knowledge of Welfare Reform and its implications for tenants.
Candidates will need to be able to travel to meet the requirements of the post without reliance on public transport.
