Choice Services (Ireland) Ltd is part of the Choice Housing Group and provides response repairs and maintenance services to over 4,000 properties including housing, apartments and office buildings. The building services we provide include: Response maintenance; Change of tenancy repairs; Adaptions for disabled tenants; Project works; Electrical testing and Asbestos monitoring.

Choice Services, the in-house service delivery organisation within Choice Housing, are looking to appoint someone to To manage the delivery of maintenance services and multi-trade works including inspections, maintenance Engineers and specialist sub-contractors. This Supervisor will develop a front line multi-skilled maintenance service and team who will work efficiently, be self-motivated and work to a performance based contract.


Essential Criteria

  • A detailed technical knowledge of building maintenance including inspections, scoping of works, organising labour and sub-contractors.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of using IT \ database systems and keeping records up to date eg Excel, Word and mobile systems (eg phone \ tablet).
  • Evidence and experience in pricing works, organising materials and controlling job budgets and costs in maintenance \ works delivery.
  • Current valid driving licence and access to private transport
  • Must have a minimum of either 5 years working in either a Trades background or a Technical building services management background.


Desirable Criteria

  • An understanding of the needs of Social Housing Tenants.
