Project Manager – VHE Stock Refurbishment

Starting salary: £36,960.18 – £47,520.27

Fixed term contract until March 2024 (with the possibility of extension)

The Association is seeking applications for the position of Project Manager who will have overall responsibility for the management of the refurbishment of the former Victoria Housing Estates (VHE) stock. This will incorporate circa 300 housing units located at a variety of locations in NI. An investment by Choice Housing of circa £20m will be undertaken in upgrading the stock over a 3 year period.

Essential Criteria:-

• At least three years’ experience in a project management position delivering property works /refurbishment
• Experience in providing combined projects valued at £3m+ per annum.
• Full professional membership such as RICS /CIOB/RIBA/APM or similar
• Knowledge and experience of NEC Contracts.
• Experience of the project design processing including obtaining statutory approvals.
• Experience in delivering VFM in projects or similar and experience in budget setting and control of expenditure.

Desirable Criteria:-

• Degree or equivalent in a surveying, building services or property management related discipline
• Social Housing experience and meeting the requirements of Tenants
• Experience in options appraisals and design remodeling.
