MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Greater Belfast area

 37hrs per week

Salary: £25,732.32 – £29,010.27 + competitive benefits package

A bit about the role

In this job you work alongside our Response Assets team by carrying our minor repairs to customers’ properties. Duties will include painting, decorating and basic DIY repairs/tasks.

A bit about you

You will need a minimum of three years recent experience in a similar trade role such as DIY, painting, carpentry or joinery. You should have knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and good practice in relation to handyperson/building maintenance duties and a wide understanding of the building industry including knowledge of materials, trades and methods. The role requires some computerised applications such as online forms and email etc.

Previous training in a relevant course e.g. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), health and safety, fire awareness etc is desirable but not essential, as is previous experience working within a social housing maintenance environment.

You will hold a full clean driving licence and be flexible in terms of the hours of work as it may be necessary to carry out some work in the evenings or weekends.  A company vehicle will be provided.
