We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need.
We have recently expanded our operations in Belfast to over 1000 properties and we currently employ 40 staff.
We wish to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following post:
MAINTENANCE OFFICER Ref: MO/10/22
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the jobholder will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of property management operations to include effective response maintenance service, management of aids and adaptations, servicing, cyclical and planned maintenance schemes.
This is a full-time permanent post working 37 hours per week: Mon-Thurs 9-5, Fri 9-4.30pm (as a result of COVID we are currently working on a hybrid arrangement from home/office based on Crumlin Road in Belfast)
The successful candidate must have:
• Relevant 3rd Level education (University Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject i.e. construction, housing, project management, surveying, etc.) OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years in a maintenance service delivery role
• A minimum of 1year experience within the last 5 years in a maintenance service delivery role
• Computer Literacy: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
The appointment will be made within the terms of the NJC Conditions of Service and salary will be at NJC Point 23, £28,226 – NJC Point 29, £33,486 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5% (£5,504pa), 34 days annual leave (incl. stats), private healthcare option, excellent work and family friendly policies and hybrid working arrangement.
