We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need. We have recently expanded our operations in Belfast to over 1000 properties and we currently employ 40 staff. We wish to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following post:
MAINTENANCE OFFICER Ref: MO/01/22
This is a full-time (37 hours per week) position and will be based in the Association’s Property Management Department, Crumlin Road, Belfast.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the jobholder will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of property management operations to include effective response maintenance service, management of aids and adaptations, servicing, cyclical and planned maintenance schemes.
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant 3rd Level education (University Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent)
OR 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance management environment
- A minimum of 1year experience (within the last 5 years) in housing, construction or maintenance management
- Computer Literacy: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
The appointment will be made within the terms of the NJC Conditions of Service and salary will be at NJC Point 19, £25,481 – NJC Point 25, £29,577 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5% (£4,968pa), 34 days annual leave (incl. stats) and excellent work and family friendly policies
