We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need. We have recently expanded our operations across Northern Ireland to over 1000 properties and we currently employ over 40 staff. We wish to recruit suitably qualified person for the post of housing officer.

Reporting to the Housing Manager, the jobholder will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of housing management operation including allocations, rent and void management, antisocial behaviour and assist the Association to achieve its core aims and objectives. This is a full-time permanent post working 37 hours per week: Mon-Thurs 9-5, Fri 9-4.30pm (as a result of COVID we are currently working on a hybrid arrangement from home/office)

The successful candidate must have:
• 3rd Level education OR a minimum of 2 years experience within the last 7 years in a
similar role
• A minimum of 1-year experience within the last 5 years in a similar role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer Literacy: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including
Word, Excel and Outlook

The appointment will be made within the terms of the NJC Conditions of Service and salary will be at NJC Points 19, £25,927 – NJC Point 25, £30,095 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5% (£5,055pa), 34 days annual leave p.a. (incl. stats) and excellent work and family friendly policies.
