We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need. We have expanded our operations across Northern Ireland to over 1000 properties and we currently employ 40 staff. We wish to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following post:
HOUSING OFFICER Ref: HO/TEMP/10/20
(Temporary post for approx. 1 year to cover maternity)
This is a full-time (37 hours per week) temporary position and will be based in the Association’s Housing Department, Flax Street, Belfast.
Reporting to the Housing Manager, the jobholder will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of housing management operation including allocations, rent and void management, antisocial behaviour etc.; and assist the Association to achieve its core aims and objectives.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the last 5yrs in a similar role
- 3rd Level education (University Degree) OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the last 8 years
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer Literacy: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
The appointment will be made within the terms of the NJC Conditions of Service and salary will be at NJC Point 19, £25,481 – NJC Point 24, £28,672 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5% (£4,968pa), 34 days annual leave (incl. stats) and excellent work and family friendly policies.
