Housing Manager NB Housing

We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need.  We have recently expanded our operations across Northern Ireland to over 1,000 properties and we currently employ over 40staff.  We wish to recruit suitably qualified person for the following post:

HOUSING MANAGER (Ref: HM/03/21)

Reporting to the Director of Housing & Corporate Services, the jobholder will take responsibility for daily management of the housing team and housing operations across the organisation.  The successful candidate must have:

• A 3rd Level education (or equivalent) in a social housing or management related field OR in the absence of a 3rd level education or equivalent, 5 years’ experience (gained within the last 7 years) in social housing
• A minimum of 3 years social housing experience (gained within the last 6 years)
• A minimum of 2 years staff management experience
• Computer Literacy: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent IT skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary for this position will be (NJC Point 30) £33,782 – (NJC Point 38) £41,881 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5% (£6,587 pa), 34 days annual leave (incl. stats) rising to 39 days after 5 years’ service and excellent work and family friendly policies.
