Housing offers a wide range of careers. It could be housing management, community development, repairs and maintenance or developing and planning for building new homes. Our apprenticeship programme is the first step to becoming a housing management professional. Accredited apprenticeships are available across Northern Ireland, working in the social housing sector to help create a future where everyone has a home, while gaining two nationally recognised qualifications and earning a competitive salary.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for committed, curious people to join our 2-year apprenticeship programme. No prior experience needed: just the right attitude and a desire to develop your career.
You’ll need 5 GCSE’s (including Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent). Whether you’ve just left school, or are looking for a change in career, you must be no older than 24. A current driving licence or access to transport that enables you to meet the requirements of the job within reasonable timeframes is essential.
WHAT WOULD THE ROLE BE LIKE?
You’ll have four days a week in the workplace and one study day, working towards:
Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice and OCN (NI) Level 3 in Housing Practice |
On successful completion of the programme, you will have a permanent job in a role in one of 7 Housing Associations who are working together to deliver this exciting programme.
