FOYER NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER NB Housing

This is a full time (37 hours) position and will be based in the Association’s Flax Foyer, which offers accommodation and support to young people aged between 18-25 years, encouraging independence and self-reliance. Reporting to the Foyer Manager, the jobholder will be required to ensure the safety of the building and residents and provide support and advice to residents.

The successful candidate must have:
• A minimum of 1-year experience (gained within the last 5 years) of providing security/support
• A good understanding of the role and responsibilities of a support worker within a supported scheme
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The appointment will be made within the terms of the NJC Conditions of Service and salary will be NJC Point 3, £18,887 – NJC Point 5, £19,650 plus optional contributory pension scheme currently at employer contribution of 19.5%, 34 days annual leave (incl. stats) pro rata rising to 39 days pro rata after 5 years’ service and excellent work and family friendly policies.
