About Us
You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties.  Our Smartmove scheme addresses housing need by letting good quality, affordable property within the private rented sector to prevent and/or reduce homelessness across Northern Ireland.

 

Your New Role with Us
You will provide support to homeless families and singles over 18 years old that are living in the private rented sector, or that have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.

 

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available in the Candidate Information Pack)

  • Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
  • NVQ Level III (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care OR relevant equivalent qualification in Social Work, Community Work or Housing Care
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support to families and singles over 18 years old in particular those with substance misuse issues, mental health issues and those at risk of offending behaviour
  • A valid driving licence and access to a car. (if disability prohibits driving, the applicant must be able to organise suitable alternative arrangements)
  • IT skills
