Development Manager Alpha Housing

Since its formation in 2009, Alpha Housing has been committed to providing a personalised, tenant-focussed service.

As of January 2020, we have 959 homes in 39 locations across Northern Ireland. Our properties are mainly ‘Category 2’ sheltered housing for older people. We also have a small number of family homes in our stock.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be a member of the Senior Management team and will lead the Association’s development function, especially in establishing the necessary pipeline of new build schemes.

This is an exciting role that is key to our ambitious goal of building 220 new social homes from 2020-2025. This is a great opportunity to make your mark in an ambitious and growing association committed to quality and innovation.

We are seeking an energetic self-starter who can work with a high degree of autonomy. Ideally, you will be a construction / property professional with experience of social housing development. The primary focus of the role in its early stages will be in establishing a pipeline of schemes. However, we need a strong generalist who can effectively manage all aspects of the development process.
