About Us
You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties.  Our Floating Support Service provides support to homeless families and singles over 18 years old who are, or who have been experiencing housing difficulties and related issues.

 

Your New Role within Damien House
You will work alongside the Manager to manage and direct an accommodation project and staffing team, providing residential provision to vulnerable homeless people with substance misuse difficulties and related complex needs.

 

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available with an application pack)

  • A qualification in a Health & Social Care related field or equivalent (NVQ Level III)
  • A Management Qualification (or a commitment to work towards level 5 in Managing Health and Social Care)
  • Relevant supervisory management experience
  • Direct work experience with individuals with alcohol problems within a challenging environment and vulnerable individuals who are homeless
  • IT skills
