A bit about the role
We are seeking a Corporate Procurement Assistant to join our team to help deliver our corporate Procurement Plan. You will provide support and assistance directly to the Senior Corporate Procurement Officer as well as general administrative functions in the Directorate. Your normal working days will be Monday to Friday, but you must be flexible in order to meet the needs of the business.

A bit about you
To flourish in the role, you will have a methodical approach, a good eye for detail with an excellent record of accuracy. You will need to demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure, be will organised and able to deal with a varied workload. You will be self-motivated and have a resilient approach to your work.

You will be educated to GCSE standard and have at least 1 years’ experience working in a busy administration role in an office environment OR if you don’t meet the GCSE requirements but have 3 years’ experience of working in a busy administration role in an office environment we would still like to hear from you.

Excellent ICT and communication skills is a must and previous experience working within customer service is advantageous.

We’ll be impressed if you have a knowledge of procurement legislation or experience of working in a procurement or purchasing environment but don’t let this put you off applying.
