A bit about the role

The Cook will be responsible for the planning, preparation and cooking of meals and the supervision of the kitchen. You’ll have some experience of working in a kitchen and be willing to attain the Level 2 in Food & Hygiene qualification. You’ll have some knowledge of the diets of older people / menu planning and you’ll be able to verbally communicate in the English language with the client group.

It’s important to us that you have the compassion and empathy to work with vulnerable people in a residential home setting.
