COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

37 hours per week, flexi and hybrid working options.

Salary: £23,000 per annum + competitive benefits package

A bit about the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person who is keen to develop within our Communications team. Working closely with the Communications Manager and Communications Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role across a range of exciting and creative marketing campaigns.  From optimising and overseeing our social media accounts, to creating video and photographic content, event management and internal comms, there is the potential for the right candidate to add real value to how we communicate.

 

You will have a good general level of education to include at least five GCSEs (at a minimum of Grade C) or equivalent to include English and Maths AND 1 years’ experience in a similar marketing related administrative role OR this would be a great opportunity for a graduate who has completed their placement year in marketing and communications and is ambitious to start a career in this field.

 

You’ll be creative, with a flair for design, and will have a good knowledge of digital communications including websites and social media and how to engage audiences. You will be inquisitive and eager to push forward new initiatives to promote the work Clanmil does.  You will also be passionate about keeping colleagues connected and effectively informed by creating original and engaging content that supports our internal communications.

You will have an excellent level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc (demonstrated by way of examples on the application form).
