NB Housing is a social housing provider located in North Belfast providing over 1,000 units of quality social housing across Northern Ireland. We offer accommodation for families, singles, sheltered and supported housing for the over 55’s and homeless accommodation for young people 18-24-year olds. Our mission is “to provide affordable rents and homes that build vibrant neighbourhoods and communities.”
We are seeking voluntary Board Members who provide good governance, can contribute to our strategy for success and deliver on our vision “to lead physical, social and economic regeneration through outstanding social housing”. We are looking for members who share our interest in community, housing provision and positive social impact as we realise our ambition of building homes and communities. Our board have responsibility for overseeing the following operations:
❖ Development or Property Management
❖ Audit, Risk and Human Resources
NB Housing full Board meet 6 times a year and Sub Committees every quarter, giving an average time commitment of at least 10 evening meetings per year. If you have the qualities and experience, can demonstrate a commitment to our corporate values, we would like to hear from you. A full induction programme will be given to all successful applicants. Whilst positions are unremunerated, reasonable expenses will be paid.
