NB Housing is seeking voluntary Board Members who provide good governance, can contribute to our strategy for success and deliver on our vision; “Everyone has an affordable, sustainable home in a supportive community that enables them to lead their best lives”.
We are looking for members who share our interest in local community, housing provision and positive social impact as we realise our ambition of building homes and communities.
We are keen to hear from people with all levels of experience however we would be particularly keen to attract candidates with skills in construction, accountancy or legal services.
Our board have responsibility for overseeing the following operations:
Governance of the association
Development and Property Management
Audit, Risk and Human Resources
NB Housing full Board meet 6 times a year and Sub Committees every quarter, giving an average time commitment of at least 10 evening meetings per year.
If you have the qualities and experience, can demonstrate a commitment to our corporate values, we would like to hear from you. A full induction programme will be given to all successful applicants. Whilst positions are unremunerated, reasonable expenses will be paid.
