Senior Carer Salary – £10.57/hr  Care Assistant Salary – £9.90/hr

A bit about the roles

We are looking to recruit a number of roles across our 3 Residential Care Homes for older People.  We currently have 2 residential care homes in Belfast – Giboney House, Mount Merrion Avenue, Belfast & De la Cour House, Woodcot Avenue, Belfast.  Our third home is based in Marriott House, Castledawson Road, Magherafelt.  Giboney House is a 15-bed home, De la Cour House & Marriott House are 13-bed homes.

For our bank roles we are looking for caring people with a can-do attitude. As a key member of the care team, you’ll put residents at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be happy to go the extra mile to make sure individual residents receive high quality care in a safe, dignified way.

For the Bank Senior Carer roles, you will lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team to deliver the very best standards of care. You’ll liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents get the medical care they need.  You will have experience of completing support plans and administering medication. Our Senior Carers role includes sleepovers with a current rate of £80.75 per night.

For the Bank Care Assistant roles, you will work alongside our care teams, providing a range of care and support services to the residents living in our Housing with Care Homes to include supporting people with their personal care, assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and general housekeeping tasks.

You will need some qualifications and experience for these roles and we will provide you with a thorough induction and training programme to help you further develop your skills.

Hours are available for day times, evenings and weekends so you will need to be flexible and available, sometimes at short notice.
