Covid-19 Updates, Guidance and Resources
In response to ongoing health and safety concerns in relation to COVID-19 (coronavirus), NIFHA is sharing links to the latest updates, guidance and resources.

- Central Government Covid-19 Guidance for Domiciliary Care Providers and Covid-19 Guidance for Residential Care Providers. The documents contain advice which covers Supported Living Schemes and includes sections on floating (community) support. In general they set out key messages to support planning and preparation in the event of an outbreak or widespread transmission of COVID-19.
- You can find guidance for social or community care settings online at Public Health England’s dedicated site. This information may be useful for supported housing providers at this early stage. The page is regularly updated.
- The Dept. for Communities has set up a special section on its website for COVID-19 Service Updates
- DfC Finance support service for anyone in a crisis situation:

- Housing Executive advice for tenants
- Tenants – social or private – as well as landlords, homeowners and homeless people, will also find excellent, comprehensive resources at Housing Rights Coronavirus page
- The Advice NI helplines also remain open: their welfare changes number is 0808 802 0020.

- The National Centre for Protection of Infrastructure has also produced useful information for security during the pandemic. Download their Guidance on Working at Home and Protection from Coronavirus Email Scams or their and Guidance on Personnel Security during a Pendemic.
- The Labour Relations Agency has set up a page with advice and guidance for employers.
- The Consumer Council also has an excellent web page, with lots of practical Advice for Northern Ireland consumers who may be affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
- Business in the Community has built a comprehensive Community Hub with a wealth of resources.
- NI Business Info is collating resources for business owners here.
