Welfare Reform Awareness Sessions
These FREE two hour training sessions from Advice NI provide participants with an overview of current welfare reforms including Personal Independence Payments, Employment Support Allowance changes, Discretionary Support/Finance Support Service, and all changes to housing related benefits including the Bedroom Tax, Benefit Cap, 30th percentile and Supplementary Payments. They will also provide an overview of sanctions, mitigations and challenging decisions.

Who should attend:
The course is available to NIFHA members. It is particularly of use to housing officers and others working with groups who will be impacted by welfare reform.
