Current Consultations
Consultation on Year 4 EQIAs
The 32 designated housing associations in Northern Ireland concluded the public consultation phase of this work at the end of December 2009. Consultee feedback has been circulated to all associations for consideration.
The Final version of the associations' Year 4 EQIA reports should be available at the end of February 2010. The policies reviewed in Year 4 were Charging and Human Resources (during employment).
Aims of each Policy
Charging Policy
To operate a schedule of charges for provision of services so as to cover the operating costs for the association while acting in a fair and equitable manner to the service users.
Human Resources (during employment)
To operate procedures as dictated by law, best practice and industry standards to:
· ensure effective and efficient management;
· comply with relevant statute;
· and, ensure well-being of all staff,
while working to achieve organisational aims, objectives and mission statement.
